FRIDAY
I've only just realised how many people I actually saw over the weekend, there's quite a lot there! So, since I'm the only person that writes for this website, I'll just write a little bit about all of them instead of a big review!
I was helping Furry Vengeance hand out CD's and flyers on Friday morning which was fun! The first band I saw was Brown Bear and the Bandits, who were so good. Last year they played the goNORTH Seedling stage so it was nice to see that they had moved up to the Hothouse stage this year and had a really big crowd.

Then it was over to the goNORTH seedling stage to see Furry Vengeance who were really good as always! They finished their set with their little medley of songs which is probably one of my favourite things! (Oh and thanks for the shoutout as well!)
Next band I saw was Miniature Dinosaurs who also played the goNORTH stage. It was nice to finally be able to see them after not being able to get into the pubs they played in last time they were in the Highlands. They were definitely one of my Belladrum highlights.
It was then over to the Free Range Folk Stage to see Jemma Tweedie. I've seen Jemma so many times now and she was amazing! It was nice to see a big crowd of people along to see her.
King Charles was definitely another one of my Belladrum highlights (I just really love his hair!) I've been listening to King Charles for a while now so it was nice to finally be able to see him and he's so good live.
After King Charles I went to see the last half of We Are The Ocean. I love the band so it was a shame I couldn't see their whole set but I it was the only clash I had all weekend which wasn't too bad! They were so good and I got to see one of my favourite bands at the festival which was good too!
I quickly went over to the Free Range Folk stage after to see the end of Alice Bentleys set, she was also joined on stage by Emily Scott for a few songs. I got along in time to see her sing 'Enjoy Myself', 'Pumped Up Kicks' - Foster The People cover and also 'Scottish Rain'. She sounded really good and also had a big crowd of people.
Next on the Free Range Folk Stage was Searching For Donkeys. They're another band that I've seen heaps but I don't mind seeing them again because they're really good and definitely a good festival band! (This is the only photo I got of the band and I had to use my phone so it's a bit blurry!)
Last band I saw on Friday was headliners Twin Atlantic. I've liked this band for a long time now so it was nice to be able to see them live for the first time. It was definitely one of the best crowds I was in all weekend and it was pretty amazing having the confetti canons and big balloons going out into the crowd. The first time Twin Altantic ever played at Belladrum they were on the Seedling stage and now they have headlined the festival so it's nice to see how far they've come since then.
Day 2
So, my Saturday morning was spent watching two local bands, starting off with the Highland Youth Street Band which my little sister is in. They band were playing in the Venus Flytrap tent and managed to fill it with a very big crowd. I'm not just saying it because my sister is in the band but they were really good and pretty much everyone in the tent was dancing!

My second local band of the day was Toby Michaels Rolling Damned. If you've never seen this band before then you have missed out in life! Toby had some red face paint on and there was lots of rolling around the stage which can be expected at their gigs! They were really good and there was definitely a few shocked faces in the crowd!
The next person I saw was Little Fire who was playing on the Seedling Stage. After seeing him play at the goNORTH festival I was definitely going to see him at Belladrum. I only heard the end of his set but it was still really good and a lot more chilled out than some of the other people I heard over the weekend!
I then went to see Anderson Mcginty Webster Ward and Fisher on the Black Isle Brewery stage. I really like this band and they are definitely one of the most talented bands i've seen. Their set was cut short because of sound problems but they were still really good!
Okay so I'm not going to lie, after this I did a little bit of stalking when I saw Nina Nesbitt and Mike Duce walking around, so we just followed them around for a while! (I was slightly fan-girling about seeing Mike Duce!) Bet none of the Nina 'fans' noticed that she was walking around!
So after a bit of stalking I went to see Admiral Fallow! They are also another one of my favourite bands and they were amazing. I'm glad I got along to see them because they were definitely not worth missing. They were another Belladrum highlight for me.
I then went to the Hothouse tent to see Washington Irving. I listen to this band a lot so it was nice to see they were playing at Belladrum. They are really good live and had a pretty big crowd as well. Washington Irving are definitely worth going to see and are another really good festival band.

Next on was Nina Nesbitt. I've seen Nina Nesbitt two times before including at Belladrum last year. We started off quite near the front of the crowd but left not long after she started because there was too many chav-y Nina 'fans' around! Nina was really good and her new music is sounding amazing. I may have went on a Mike Duce hunt once I left the tent! (I just really like Mike Duce!) Anyway I eventually found him and met him which was so good!
Next people I saw was Noisettes. I was quite surprised about how many of their songs I actually had heard before, I thought I only knew a couple! They were so good and Shingai Shoniwa (band singer) even went for a walk around the crowd on a mans shoulders which was pretty cool!
Instead of seeing the main stage head-liner James on Saturday I went to the Seedling Stage and saw Casual Sex and then Three Blind Wolves. I had never heard either of the bands before but they were both really good and it was nice to see a smaller head-liner. Three Blind Wolves were also joined by Washington Irving for their last song which was one of the best things I heard all weekend.
Belladrum was really good this year and it was nice to see so many really good band and singers and also lot's of local bands and singers.
