• When and how did the band form?
We formed three years ago in Stirling where we’re from. (Barry) Me and Alban met at a football match and he told me he was into music. We met Sam at a local venue when he was up for Uni. Andrew was already doing his own thing with music when we met him and before he joined the band.
• You’ve released three Ep’s, is there any plans to release more or an album?
We’ve started recording our first album and have been doing that for about three months now, so hopefully that’ll be done in a few months. By releasing an album your making a big statement about the kind of band you are and who to reach out to.
• Lots of people from up here go to uni in striling. What can they expect from the music scene?
There seems to be a lot of people in Stirling from Alness, never Inverness! (Alness is about half an hour away from Inverness) and all these people are really into music as well. There’s a lot of musical people up here (Highlands) who must go to places like Glasgow and central Scotland. There’s a big venue in Stirling called the Toolbooth and another new venue called 20 Rocks in Stirling and a few more opened up around Scotland.
• You’ve just been confirmed for Go North festival this year, how did that come about?
Our manager just went round all the festivals signing us up for them. We played Go North last year in the Ironworks which was really great and there was so many good bands playing
• Have you got any gigs lined up after playing with Brown bear and the bandits?
No, we’re going to get into the studio and get the album recorded. There probably won’t be any gigs between now and festival season so then we can make the album the best it’ll be.
• What would you class you music as?
Definitely guitar music, definitely indie music and definitely a little bit quirky! Even if we did try to sound like another band we would probably sound different!
• What are the plans next for the band?
Doing the album and then after that it’s completely unknown.
· Where can people find your music?
They have two weeks to download ‘Off the Radio EP’, ‘Cold Shoulder single’, ‘Chatterbox EP’ and ‘(I Want to Watch) Top Gear/ Pretty single’ before they are taken off-line and then there’ll only be one EP after that. We’re on Spotify and there’s videos on Youtube as well.
