I like to think that you can tell how good a gig was by the number of injuries you come away with. Obviously this doesn't work for all gigs but it definitely fits for this one. So several bruises and a very sore ankle later I think it's safe to say that All Time Low were amazing! They're one of my favourite bands and this was also my first gig of 2014 so I was definitely looking forward to seeing them and they didn't disappoint. 'A Love Like Tour' is taking place following the release of their new album 'Don't Panic: It's Longer Now' which was released at the end of 2013.
Starting the night was Only Rivals. I love finding out about new bands and I'm definitely glad that they were supporting because I really liked their music and they were definitely a great way to start the night. The Dublin band definitely knew how to work the crowd and got everyone clapping along which is always nice! Definitely a really good support band for All Time Low and I would recommend everyone to have a listen.

And now was when the first mosh pit of the night began. I can understand people starting mosh pits when there's music playing but when they start them because the security at the front of stage are handing out water I find it a bit confusing. Yeah so basically being kind of weak led to me getting pushed out of the middle of the crowd and ending up stood by myself (awkward!)
It was then time for the next support act, Tonight Alive. I had listened to this band quite a few times before the gig and was looking forward to seeing them. They're an amazing live band and Jenna McDougall is definitely one of the best female singers I've heard. The band have quite a heavier rock sound compared to Only Rivals and All Time Low which was a nice change and it definitely got the crowd going. Like Only Rivals, Tonight Alive were also a great band to put on before All Time Low and you could definitely see and feel a lot of excitement in the venue.

Time for a bit of classical music and dramatic strobe lighting and then All Time Low appeared. This was the second time I've seen All Time Low and it was definitely my favourite out of the two shows. The band really now how to put on a good show and they're funny too which always helps! I would say my favourite song of the whole night was 'The Irony Of Choking On A Lifesaver'. It's already my favourite All Time Low song but hearing it live made it 100x better. They played some of the songs from their new album including 'A Love Like War' which Jenna McDougall joined the stage to sing and 'Oh Calamity!'. Their set was amazing and they definitely knew which songs would work best on this tour. There was also their more classic songs including 'Weightless', 'Time Bomb' and finishing off their set with 'Dear Maria, Count Me In'.
All Time Low are just one of those bands that never seem to get old and just get better and better and I definitely can't wait to see them again. The gig was amazing and it's always nice hearing the whole crowd singing along to every song. I also met Jack Barakat and Rian Dawson at the end *releases inner fangirl* and they were so lovely (and their American accents were super cute!) Adam Elmakias was also there which was cool, he is probably my favourite photographer and has taken a lot of amazing photos of some of my favourite bands!
