Twin Atlantic are one of my favourite bands so I was really excited about seeing them. I was also looking forward to seeing the two support acts 'Medals' and 'Model Aeroplanes' as I had heard a lot of really great things about them.
Starting off the night was Medals who are a pop/ rock band from Glasgow. This was the first time I had seen the band but I really loved they music. It was definitely the up-beat fun sort of music that got everyone dancing but still had a kind of more rock based sound that made it sound more unique! Medals were an amazing band to open up the night with and I would definitely recommend going to see them.

Next on was Model Aeroplanes who are a pop band from Dundee. I first heard of the band a few months ago when they played at goNORTH but I never got the chance to see them at the festival so it was good to finally be able to get to see them. They are also a band with really feel-good, up beat music that made me wish I was at a festival and that it was sunny! They are definitely another band that I will be listening to a lot more now!
It's been so long since I've written a review that I can't remember how to write without sounding like a complete fangirl! Twin Atlantic were AMAZING! This was the third time I've seen the band and each time I seem to love them more and more which I didn't think was possible. Like all normal Twin Atlantic gigs, Bohemian Rhapsody started playing before they came out onto stage which is just such a great song and definitely gets everyone in the crowd excited and singing along! They began their set with 'I Am An Animal' which is one of their new songs that was released earlier this year. They also sung their newer songs 'Brothers and Sisters' and 'Heart and Soul' along with many of their older songs including 'Crash Land', 'Free', 'Yes, I Was Drunk' and 'Wonder Sleeps Here'. I have a lot of love for Twin Atlantic and they always seem to be genuinely so amazed by how much support they get from their fans at gigs which I think is really nice. They're one of the best bands I've seen live and definitely know how to put on a good show.
